I’m here to help you and your baby with whatever challenges you are facing right now. The Happy Bubba clinic, was set up by myself, a fully qualified midwife with +15 years experience, a hypnobirthing practitioner, health visitor and qualified oral function specialist helping new parents and your babies with tongue tie (also known as ankyloglossia) and the challenges which that brings.
My experience and expertise allows me to offer an entirely holistic approach in getting to the root cause of challenges with your baby so that together we can work through techniques and treatments that will have a long term positive impact on your baby’s health and wellbeing.

I have worked with so many families who have faced challenges with their babies; I’ve seen it all! I love what I do and together we can look past the symptoms and get to the root cause of any difficulties you are facing, whether that be with tongue tie, colic, reflux or feeding. I want to empower you with knowledge and together we can create a plan to overcome any issues you and your baby are experiencing.

My core services include support and assistance with tongue tie, colic, reflux and feeding (breast and bottle). Each case is unique and therefore I ensure that I offer a bespoke service to every family I work with depending on the challenges you are experiencing with your baby.
What is tongue tie?
Tongue tie (also known as ankyloglossia), is a condition in which a baby's tongue remains attached to the floor of their mouth. This occurs when the lingual frenulum (a thin strip of tissue connecting the tongue and the floor of the mouth) is shorter than usual. Tongue tie isn’t always visible so it can be hard to diagnose which means it can easily be missed by healthcare professionals. There are associated challenges that come with a tongue tie such as feeding and I offer ongoing help and support with this whether you are breast or bottle feeding.

The treatment and solutions for tongue tie vary in every baby and I approach each case differently depending on the severity and class of the tie and the issues caused as a result.

As I am based in Herts I can also support families living in Essex and London either in my clinic or the comfort of your own home.
